Accommodations

 

The accommodation at Carrigmore Farm House consists of 7 rooms...a living room, a large kitchen eating area, 3 downstairs bedrooms capable of sleeping 5 adults, modern kitchen, and bath with tub and separate shower. Upstairs loft provides 2 additional beds for overflow sleeping.

Living Room

The living room provides a cozy center to the house with its overstuffed furniture and antiques.  It provides access to the two main bedrooms with their double beds.  The main window provides a view to Carrigmore...the big rock.

The wood burning fireplace provides a focal point for this cozy room, which is part of the original farmhouse constructed 300 years ago. 

You can light a fire on a chilly evening...then sit back and enjoy the warmth.

The kitchen is another of the original rooms of the old farmhouse. 

This old farm kitchen serves as a gathering room for meals, games, or watching television.

The stairs from the kitchen provide access to the 4th upstairs bedroom with its two single beds. 

The back-kitchen is off of this room with the   kitchen sink and all electric appliances... fridge/freezer, electric cooker and oven, and washer/dryer plus all the china, pots, pans, and utensils you may need for your visit.

The 3rd bedroom, with its single  bed is off the kitchen.

The Farm Courtyard provides a large picnic table and barbeque for outside gatherings when the day is sunny.  A separate outdoor room is provided for changing of coats or muddy boots or wellies if you've been hiking or made a trip up to the Big Rock.  This area also provides ample parking for a number of cars.

Heating in the Farm House is by electricity, and you pay for what you use at the end of your visit at the standard utility rate.  Heating is controllable on its own timer.  Individual controls are also provided for the water heater.
