Welcome

Carrigmore house is a self catering Irish farmouse accomodation on the grounds of the Cummins farm 3 miles / 4.8 km south of Doon, Co. Limerick, Ireland. The building is south facing, tucked away in a peaceful corner of the farm, overlooking fields in which cattle graze. 

Carrigmore or 'big rock' in English is a major geological feature in the area - a solid rock of flint deposited long ago by the glaciers.  

View from the rock to the South shows the Farmhouse in the center and the beauty of the surrounding countryside with the Galtee Mountains in the distance.

 

We will be there to welcome you and show you into the farmhouse to ensure that you have everything you need for your holiday. There is help avaliable should you need it, and we will be delighted to advise you on what to do and see whether you want to walk, stroll or drive to area attractions.
